This eight week program meets 2 1/2 hours per week , includes written and audio materials and  a daylong retreat . The programs will be taught by diverse, certified trauma informed teachers with many years of experience both teaching MBSR to a variety of populations , as well as training and mentoring future MBSR teachers.

These classes are offered in collaboration with a national anti Gun violence organization; Survivors Empowered .

Unique to these classes is that the participation will only be open to  people who are victims, survivors and families effected by gun violence. We aim to create a safe place for participants to come together to learn ways to work with trauma,  emotion regulation and enhance resilliance and well-being.
