Mindful Self-Compassion 5-Day Intensive — San Diego, CA, US
Mindful Self-Compassion 5-Day Intensive — San Diego, CA, US
November 27th - December 1st 2016
Led by Beth Mulligan and Michelle Becker
San Diego, CA 92128
United States
Mindful Self-Compassion training teaches us how to develop the warm-hearted, connected presence we need during moments of difficulty. Self-compassion provides the emotional strength and resilience needed to offer ourselves the same kindness and understanding we would offer a good friend. With self-compassion we can motivate ourselves with encouragement, forgive ourselves, face and befriend our shortcomings, care for others while caring for self, and live more authentically. Research shows that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, lower levels of anxiety and depression, healthy habits such as diet and exercise, and more satisfying personal relationships. This program will teach you to:
- Stop being so hard on yourself
- Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
- Motivate yourself with kindness instead of criticism
- Transform your relationships, old and new
- Practice mindfulness and self-compassion exercises in everyday life
Registrations for this intensive 5-day program will be limited to 16 participants.
For those who need overnight accommodations, we recommend the nearby Courtyard San Diego Rancho Bernardo – Marriott; located at 11611 Bernardo Plaza Ct, San Diego, CA 92128. Ph: (858) 613-2000.
