Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction MBSR Classes Daytime and Evening Classes, October - December, 2014

We will be teaching the Original Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction "MBSR" Program as devised by Dr. Jon-Kabat Zinn at the University of Massachusetts
Medical School. Dr Kabat-Zinn's MBSR program is the most widely researched Mindfulness intervention in the world at this point.
Our Multi week MBSR - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program in Orange County runs for 8 weeks.
Two hours per week of experiential session featuring mindfulness meditation instruction and body practices including gentle yoga.
There will also be lively discussions on stress and health related subjects. The course also includes an All-Day retreat for
a deeper immersion in the lessons and practices of mindfulness, meditation and yoga.
Learn how your mind body awareness can be used to promote health and well being.

Mindfulness is now being applied with great effect to help people forge a new relationship with their food.
Join Physician Assistant and Mindfulness Instructor, Beth Mulligan PA-C, for a day as we explore the benefits of using
mindfulness to gain a deeper understanding of our relationship with food. Learn how we can use our awareness to break old
patterns that no longer serve us. And learn about the cycles that keep us trapped and get a new perspective on how to take
better care of ourselves around food and diet. Our day will include lively discussions, mindfulness meditation instruction and
body practices including gentle yoga. Join us as we learn how to harness the mind body connection to help us make better health
choices with our eating habits.

Join us for a highly experiential program, which will teach us to use mindfulness and the powerful Mind-Body connection
to reduce stress and enhance our sense of joy and well being.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is an evidence based program known to reduce the harmful effects of long term stress on health.
While it's true that everyone experiences stress, women have a unique form of stress that comes from taking care of others and putting
ourselves and our self-care on the back burner. Over time this takes a toll on us and reduces our effectiveness in the world.
In this five session program, (4 Tuesday evenings and a Saturday All-Day Retreat) we'll learn mindfulness, meditation and gentle
yoga style movement to explore our relationship with ourselves, others and the world, emerging with renewed energy, sense of purpose,
and joy in living. When we place self care first, there is much more of us available to give, live and love those around us.
This program is being offered through the Susan Samuelli center for Integrative Medicine.

Refund Policy: At Mindful-Way we try and keep our classes very affordable and as a general rule we do not issue refunds.
However in some cases we offer discretionary refunds (less a % processing fee) in cases of personal emergency or
unforseen circumstances up to 8 days before Classes/Events.
No refund for week-of cancellation or no-show.
